Kevin Keith brings to the Entertainment Industry over 20 years’ experience in the animal business.  His animal experience is as diverse as the animals one can see performing in one of his shows.  Kevin began his career as an animal trainer at Moorpark College in Moorpark, California, where he received his degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management.  Upon exiting Moorpark, Kevin began working immediately training live animal shows.  He eventually started working at Marine World Africa USA in Vallejo, California.  During his time at Marine World, Kevin served as the head of the primate department, and was in charge of the production of the park’s live primate show.

After nearly a decade at Marine World, Kevin decided to go out on his own and did so by starting his own company, Monkey Business Productions.  As owner-operator of Monkey Business, Kevin and his animal family have accumulated an impressive list of credits that included titles from feature films, television, commercials, and of course live animal productions.  The culmination of Kevin’s live animal experiences was recognized in 2002 when his show, entitled “Lights, Camera, Animals”, was a finalist in the IAAPA best “Edu-tainment” category, which he produced while working under contract once again for Six Flags Marine World.

Today Kevin continues to produce live animal shows as well as maintaining an excellent working reputation within the film and television industries.  The shows that he produces today continue to rate amongst the highest live animal productions in the nation.  He has achieved this only after a lifetime of study and working experience all while holding true to one main ideal.  That ideal is that a live animal encounter must not only be entertaining but meaningful and educational as well.  Kevin strives to provide his audiences with an experience that is not meant to merely entertain them, but also to enrich their knowledge about the relationships and bonds that exist between animal and man.  “Lights, Camera, Animals” is a testament to these ideals and its success is the culmination of a lifetime of hard work and dedication.
